ELBA, Ala. — An Elba teen was killed during a single-car crash on Coffee County 345 Thursday afternoon, according to a Alabama Department of Public Safety press release.

Ryan Dale Allen, 19, was traveling on Coffee County 345 about five miles north of Elba when the 2008 Nissan Titan he was driving ran off the road and overturned. Allen, who reportedly was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the car. He was pronounced dead on scene.

Alabama State Troopers said speed was a factor in the crash. Nothing further was available Thursday evening.
