A man accused of firing shots at another on Terminal Court Friday faces a reckless conduct charge in the shooting, Columbus police said.

Kenny Lamar Miller, 23, also is charged with possession of a firearm during commission of a crime and one count each of possession of cocaine and marijuana. He is being held at the Muscogee County Jail.

In a report, police were called to the 700 block of Terminal Court to check on gunshots, when they observed Miller stashing a .380-caliber pistol in the floorboard of his red Nissan Altima before fleeing into a nearby apartment. Police went to the apartment and took Miller into custody.

Inside the vehicle, police found marijuana and less than a gram of cocaine near the pistol.

Police said Miller was on parole for a robbery charge.
