Man robbed at Veterans Affairs Office on 13th Avenue

A man was robbed of $40 Wednesday morning while he was at the Veterans Affairs Office on the 1400 block of 13th Avenue, according to a Columbus Police report.

The 55-year-old victim told police that two men took his wallet and $40 at about 6:50 a.m. Wednesday.

The victim described the first suspect as a 5-foot-11-inch black man with a medium complexion who seemed to be between 25- and 28-years-old. He estimated the suspect weighed about 160 pounds, and said he was wearing jeans and a red shirt during the incident.

The second suspect he described as a 5-foot-9-inch black man with a dark complexion who appeared to be between 25- and 28-years-old. He estimated the suspect weighed 140 pounds, and said he was wearing shorts and no shirt.
