VIDEO: Fort Benning soldier proposes at Sunday's Atlanta Braves game

This marriage proposal video might make your Monday a little brighter.

It features a Fort Benning soldier proposing to his girlfriend during the third inning of Sunday's Braves-Diamondbacks game. He pops the question while being interviewed by a FOX Sports South reporter.

A FOX Sports South article about the proposal identifies the soldier as First Lt. Ariel Castro of Fort Benning. His girlfriend is identified as Cherie Byron. (Note: A Google search suggests her last name might be "Byrom," rather than "Byron.")

The article notes, "Castro had just returned from Afghanistan nine days prior. The couple has been dating for two years."

The article adds, "The proposal was one of the featured events for the Tribute to the Troops event put on by the Braves and FOX Sports South, which brought in troops from all over to attend the game with proceeds going toward the Wounded Warrior Project."

The clip appeared on MSN.com, so it's likely making the Internet rounds. Check out the video:
