Laptops reported stolen from Sierra Drive home

Columbus police are investigating a reported burglary on Sierra Drive in which two laptops and an E Reader were taken.

According to the police report, the theft of the items valued at $1,530 took place Friday between 11:45 a.m. and 3:20 p.m.

The resident arrived home to find the front door forced open. Damage to the door was estimated at $200.

The victim said she spoke to a neighbor who saw a tall, thin white male in red shirt and shorts near the house around 11:30 a.m.
