Woman falsely reports vehicle stolen

A woman was arrested and charged with false report of a crime Sunday after she falsely reported a car stolen.

Tareaha Jones, 29, was arrested at about 8 a.m. after Jones falsely reported her vehicle stolen. While investigating Jones' claim, police came to learn her statements were false. When officers attempted to put her in custody, she starting yelling using profanity.

Jones was charged with obstruction and false report of a crime. She was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
