Woman arrested for possession of cocaine near Fourth Avenue

A woman was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine Monday after a police officer saw a car pick her up near Fourth Avenue, according to a Columbus Police report.

Erin Collier, 32, was charged with possession of cocaine at about 12:30 a.m. She was stopped after an officer saw her attempt to get in a 2012 Nissan Frontier that stopped to pick her up near the intersection of Fourth Avenue and 32nd Street.

No explanation was provided for how the officer found the cocaine Collier allegedly possessed.

Collier was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
