Man found with more than $300 of marijuana on Gleason Avenue

A man was arrested and charged with intent to distribute marijuana Tuesday after he was found with more than $300 worth of the narcotic on Gleason Avenue, according to a Columbus Police report.

An officer stopped Jonathan Jones, 30, at about 9:20 p.m. Tuesday on the 2900 block of Gleason Avenue. During the investigation, he was found in possession of just over one ounce and one quarter ounce of marijuana. The officer also found a digital scale and plastic bags.

Jones was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. He was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
