LaGrange Police look for man suspected of snatching Murphy Avenue woman's purse

Police are looking for a robbery suspect after a man allegedly snatched a woman's purse on Murphy Avenue Tuesday, according to a LaGrange Police Department press release.

The woman told police that she was getting into her vehicle in her driveway on the 1200 Murphy Avenue when a man took her purse and two cell phones. He then fled on foot towards Fourth Avenue.

Officers searched the area, but were unable to find the suspect. He was described as a 16- to 17-year-old black man who was about 6-foot tall. He is estimated to weigh 150 pounds. During the crime, he was wearing a white shirt and camouflage pants. He reportedly had a red bandanna obscuring his face.
