2 Men rob Mama's Bar on Veterans Parkway

Two men robbed Mama's Bar Friday afternoon and left with cash, Columbus police said.

No one was injured in the 3:42 p.m. holdup at 7918 Veterans Parkway. In a report, police said two men, one armed with a black pistol, entered the bar through a rear door and pointed the pistol at a woman. The robbers took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled through the rear door.

Both bandits were described as white. One is about 6 feet tall, 20 to 25 years old and weighing about 160 pounds. He was wearing a white tank top, blue jeans and armed with a black pistol.

The second stocky robber is 20 to 25 years old, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 190 to 200 pounds. He has shaggy blonde hair and was wearing blue jeans and a gray T-shirt with dark gray letters.

The robbery remains under investigation.
