Shotguns, laptops among items taken in Vicky Avenue burglary

The resident of a house on Vicky Avenue has reported to Columbus police that two shotguns, a rifle, a handgun and four laptops were among the items taken in a burglary this weekend.

According to the police report, the crime occurred between 8 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday.

The victim said the back door to the home may have been unlocked.

No damage was found to the home.

The resident said three televisions and three cell phones were also stolen.

The value of the items taken is estimated at about $5,830.

Gang activity is not believed to be involved.
