LaGrange Police are looking for a suspect that robbed a man of his scooter near Ashton Street, according to a LaGrange Police Department press release.

Police responded to Peachtree Street Monday after receiving reports of an armed robbery. The victim told police that he was riding his red scooter near the intersection of Harwell Avenue and Ashton Street when he stopped to talk to a group of men gathered on the corner. Two of the men in the group he knew, according to the report.

While he was talking to a friend, suspect Scottie Dunlap pulled a gun from his waist and put it to the victim's head. He demanded the scooter and rode away on it. The victim said he waited to see if Dunlap would return with the scooter, but he did not. He then walked to a family member's home to call police.

No description was provided for Dunlap.
