Two arrested after man shot in shin on Braselman Avenue

Two men were arrested Wednesday after a man was shot in the shin on Braselman Avenue, according to a Columbus Police report.

Police responded to Center Street Wednesday at about 5:45 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. When they arrived, the victim told them that while visiting his grandfather he was shot in the right shin by a man called "Todd." The victim told police that Todd was aided by two other men, who were later arrested.

Aaron Campbell, 23, and Treyvonne Campbell, 19, were arrested and charged with aggravated assault. They were taken to Muscogee County Jail.

The victim's injuries were treated at the hospital. They were not life-threatening.
