Aug. 8: Buy a Blizzard and help Children’s Miracle Network at The Medical Center

August 2, 2013

On Thursday, Aug. 8, area Dairy Queen restaurants will celebrate their seventh annual Miracle Treat Day and donate proceeds from every Blizzard sold that day to Children’s Miracle Network at The Medical Center.

Miss Georgia Carly Mathis and Miss Columbus State University Katelyn Pawlowski will serve Blizzards at the Macon Road Dairy Queen noon-1 p.m. and at 2 p.m., they'll deliver frozen treats to patients on the Pediatric floor of the Medical Center.

Dairy Queen has been a supporter of CMN since 1984, raising more than $70 million for critically ill and injured children during that time.
