Area schools back in session starting on Wednesday

On Wednesday, the school bells will be ringing in Muscogee County, and also in Harris County and Muscogee County.

Many of the private schools in the Chattahoochee Valley reconvene next week, with St. Luke school and Glenwood opening for class on Aug. 12. Calvary Christian School opens on Aug. 13, followed by Brookstone School and St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School on Aug. 14.

The school systems in East Alabama — Phenix City, Russell County and Smith Station schools — open their doors to students on Aug. 19.
