Suspect pushes man down stairs at Northgate Village Apartments

A suspect pushed a man down a flight of stairs at Northgate Village Apartments Saturday after attempting to rob him, according to a Columbus Police report.

The 32-year-old victim told police he was at the apartment complex on the 4400 block of Warm Springs Road at about 11:05 p.m. Soon after, a man described only as wearing a grey sweatshirt pushed him down a flight of stairs after attempting to rob him.

Police reported that the man sustained injuries to his left forearm and elbow and had a laceration on his left hand. He was not transported for medical assistance.

No suspects were named. No further information was available.
