A man was stabbed on Terminal Court Monday by an unknown assailant, according to a Columbus Police report.

Police were patrolling the Terminal Court area at about 1:50 a.m., when an officer noticed Fire Department workers and EMS at a residence on the 700 block of the street. The officer stopped to ask if the officials needed any assistance, and was told that a man fell on a piece of glass, injuring his lower abdomen.

When the officer examined the injury, he determined it looked similar to a stab wound. He asked the 23-year-old victim what happened and was told that man named Travis was walking by his residence when the two began to argue. During a fist fight, Travis allegedly stabbed the victim with a knife.

The officer reported the victim was uncooperative and refused to give further details about the night's events. He was transported to The Medical Center for non-lethal injuries.

While at the hospital, the victim indicated that he did not want to pursue prosecution.

As of Tuesday morning, there is no witness information or further information about the suspect. No further injuries were reported.
