Woman arrested for meth possession on Wilton Street

A woman was arrested for methamphetamine possession on Wilton Street Monday, according to a Columbus Police report.

Police responded to the 500 block of Wilton Street at about 1 p.m. Monday after receiving reports of a stopped vehicle interrupting the flow of traffic.

While speaking with Jessica Heath, 30, the officer discovered that Heath was in possession of meth. He also discovered that she had attempted to misrepresent herself at an unnamed pharmacy to acquire prescription medication.

Heath was charged with possession of drug related objects, identity fraud, possession of meth, two counts of forgery in the first degree and criminal attempt to acquire controlled substances from pharmacy. She was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
