Police arrest woman for meth possession near Rose Hill Street

A woman was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine Wednesday morning after she was stopped for improper headlights and tail lights, according to a Columbus Police report.

An officer stopped Ashley Tucker, 29, at about 1:15 a.m. after she was seen at the intersection of 12th Avenue and Rose Hill Street with improper headlights and tail lights. During the stop, the officer found an undisclosed amount of meth in Tucker's possession.

Tucker was arrested and charged with possession of meth, possession of drug related objects, improper headlights, improper tail lights, no proof of insurance and driving with license suspended. She was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
