Bring on the weekend. If you're hitting the bar scene, here are three recommendations.

Let's start with something new. Nightlife fans ready for a new adventure might want to check out “The Big City Club presents Cocktails...A Grand Re-imagining.” The Saturday event is at 1113 Broadway in downtown Columbus. Doors open at 9 p.m. and a drag show is at 11:30 p.m. Cover is $5.

If you've been singing "It's Raining Men" all week, you might want to visit Mix Ultra Lounge (1040 Broadway) Saturday night. The hot spot hosts The Men of Magic Mike Male Revue. Doors open 8 p.m., show is 9-11 p.m. Check the nightclub’s Facebook page for information about limited $10 advance tickets. Otherwise, tickets are $15. Call 706-221-2112.

Finally, Def Leppard tribute act Hysteria comes to Chaos on the Rocks (1244 Broadway) Saturday night. Chris Chaos, promotion and marketing manager for the bar, described the band this way: "They do TWO sets (one with two armed drummer, the other with one armed drummer) they look and sound like Def Leppard." As you might know, Rick Allen continued to play with Def Leppard after having an arm amputated. Show starts at 9 p.m. Cover is $10, or $5 for military.
