Police search for two LaGrange robbers

LAGRANGE, Ga. — Police are searching for two suspects after a man was robbed on Whitesville Street Sunday, according to a LaGrange Police Department press release.

Officers responded to the 1000 block of Whitesville Street at about 7:30 p.m., after receiving reports of an armed robbery. When they arrived the victim told police that while he was on his front porch two men, dressed all in black, brandished a black firearm and demanded all he had. The two men then fled on foot.

Anyone with additional information about this event should contact the LaGrange Police Department at 706 883 2603 or the Troup County Crime Stoppers at 706 812 1000. They can also text an anonymous tip to 274637 with the keyword "LAGRANGE," or submit tips on the police department's Facebook.
