Is rapper Big Boi taking classes at Auburn University?

— Georgia rapper Big Boi, widely known as one half of the hip-hop duo OutKast, was apparently at Auburn University on Monday. His official Tumblr page includes some Aug. 19 photos of the university.

It seems like Big Boi was helping one of his kids settle into college life, based on the "ProudPapi" hashtag he used. The assumption makes sense. In this December 2012 interview, Big Boi says, "My kids now are 11, 12, and my daughter is 17. She just got accepted into the University of Alabama and Auburn University, which was her dream school to go to."

But his Auburn connection might be even deeper. The War Eagle Reader suggests Big Boi is attending Auburn, too. The evidence? A photo of him sitting at a desk inside a classroom.

It might mark the beginning of an exciting higher education journey...or he might just be sitting at a desk for fun.

Still, the idea of Big Boi taking college courses isn't that outrageous.

After all, he tweeted a quote from Plato on Monday: "We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light."

Should Big Boi stick around in Auburn? Listen to this OutKast song while you contemplate that question.
