Two gunmen rob man for $14

Two armed gunmen robbed a 29-year-old Columbus man early today at the corner of North Lumpkin Road and 32nd Avenue, police said.

The victim wasn’t injured in the hold up which occurred about 1:45 a.m.

In a report, the victim told police that two men in their 20s pointed black semi-automatic pistols at him in the street before taking $14 in cash and other unidentified items.

Both robbers were described as black. One is chubby, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds. The second is skinny, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds. Both wore a black shirt and hat.

The robbery remains under investigation.
