Columbus police investigating reported armed robbery on Thomas Street

Columbus police are investigating the report of an armed robbery on Thomas Street.

According to a police report, a 31-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint at 2:46 a.m. on Saturday. It happened on the street.

The suspects are two black males. One, described as having a dark complexion, wore a white tank top, dark shorts and a ball cap. The victim told police the man had a silver pistol. The other, described as being heavy set with a light complexion, wore dark clothing and had a black pistol.

The victim told police the thieves got away in a Chevrolet S-10 Blazer that was making rattling noises.

The report did not say how much was taken from the victim.
