High school roundup: Jobe leads Newnan to 12-0 win over Northside

NEWNAN, Ga. -- Arden Jobe homered, went 3-for-3 and drove in three runs to lead Newnan to a 12-0 win over Northside on Wednesday.

Tori Loveless pitched three innings to pick up the win for Newnan in a game shortened by the mercy rule. Newnan scored nine runs in the bottom of the third inning to blow the game open.

Sarah Horne and Ellen Glegg had the only two hits for the Lady Patriots.

Cora Beth Hudgins gave up five hits and three earned runs in taking the loss.Wednesday at Newnan, Ga.
