$7,000 Reward offered in Valley, Ala., robbery and shooting

The Valley, Ala., Police Department and Greater Valley Area Crime Stoppers have announced a $7,000 reward for information leading to a suspect in the Aug. 15 shooting and robbery of Chuck Hudmon at the Triangle Service Station.

Crime Stoppers has allocated $2,000 and the rest of the reward is from pledges and donations from local residents.

Witnesses told police that the robbers may have been driving a silver or gray four-door Cadillac or a similar vehicle. Hudmon is recovering from his injuries.
