Bomb threat at Club Sky on Friday

A bomb threat at Club Sky, 1818 Midtown Drive in Columbus, was reported Friday night.

According to the police report, the incident occurred at 11:53 p.m.

Dispatch told officers that a male had called 911 and said there was a bomb in the building "in the name of Allah.

The club's owner Mario Saad temporarily closed the club down.

Police and members of the club's security staff then searched in and around the building.

Nothing unusual was found.

Saad told police that he believed a rival club owner or promoter had called in the threat to mess up his business.

The case is under investigation and anyone with information should contact Columbus police.
