Four assaulted with knife, cane at Marathon Drive mobile home

A 40-year-old woman was beaten with a cane and choked by unknown assailants Sunday at a Marathon Drive mobile home, according to a Columbus Police report.

Two men, also residents of the mobile home, told police they were assaulted in the home's kitchen at about 11:10 p.m. The 49-year-old victim sustained two lacerations to his right forearm after he was allegedly assaulted with a knife. The 33-year-old victim told police he was also threatened with the knife and cane.

The 40-year-old woman who was allegedly beaten and choked was flushed and showed signs of swelling to her forehead, according to the report.

No description of the assailants was given, though police recorded the crime as family violence. Details will be added as they become available.
