Teen, 12-year-old killed in Linden collision

A 19-year-old and 12-year-old were killed in a Sunday afternoon crash near Linden, Ala., according to an Alabama State Troopers press release.

Anthony Robinson Jr., 19, of Linden was driving south on U.S. 43 with 12-year-old Christopher Boykin of Demopolis when he collided with a car driven by Demopolis resident Leonard Essex.

Both Robinson and Boykin were pronounced dead on scene. Essex was injured and taken to Bryant Whitfield Hospital.

No further information was available Sunday afternoon.
