Georgia drops to 11 in AP, 12 in USA Today; Bama still No. 1

Georgia plummeted down the AP and USA Today college football polls after its 38-35 loss to Clemson on Saturday.

The Bulldogs, who were ranked No. 5 in both polls before the game, are No. 11 in the AP poll and No. 12 in the USA Today poll.

Georgia faces South Carolina -- No. 6 in both polls -- Saturday at Sanford Stadium with a kickoff at 4:30 p.m.

Alabama remained an overwhelming choice for No. 1 in the both polls.

The Tide, which beat Virginia Tech 35-10 on Saturday, received 58 of 60 first-place votes in AP and 58 of 62 for USA Today.
