A robber demanded a man's keys when he attempted to move his van at his McCartha Drive home Wednesday, according to a Columbus Police report.

The 37-year-old victim told police he was attempting to move his Ford Econoline van to another spot in the yard when a robber jumped out of his bushes and pointed a pistol at him. The suspect ordered him to give over his keys, then drove away in the victim's van toward St. Marys Road.

The van was later recovered, but reports did not disclose where it was found or whether arrests were made. More details will be added as they become available.
