A Chapman's Thrift Mall shoplifter injured two employees when he tried to make off with a Pioneer audio system Thursday morning, according to a Columbus Police report.

By the time police arrived at the thrift mall, located at 2334 Wynnton Road, a 60-year-old employee's shoulder was already dislocated and 25-year-old worker had a cut left ear and a knot on the side of his head.

The employees told police that Sa-Quan Deray Lee, 36, tackled the elderly man and threw him down on the concrete, which resulted in the shoulder injury. The other employee was punched in the side of the head.

Lee was charged with two counts of battery with physical visible harm and theft by shoplifting. He was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
