Falcons CB Samuel questionable for season opener

The Sports NetworkSeptember 6, 2013

Atlanta Falcons cornerback Asante Samuel is questionable for Sunday's season opener against the New Orleans Saints with a thigh injury.

Samuel, who had limited reps in practice throughout the week, is heading into his 11th pro campaign and second with the Falcons. In 2012, he totaled 36 tackles and five interceptions in 15 games.

The Falcons also listed linebacker Stephen Nicholas (thigh) and wideout Roddy White (ankle) as questionable.

Atlanta finished 13-3 a year ago and won the NFC South.
