Columbus State women's cross country team cruises to win

AMERICUS, Ga. -- The Columbus State women's cross country team won the Georgia Southwestern Remembrance Run on Saturday.

CSU had four runners finished in the top eight and earned 43 points. Clayton State was a distant second with 80 with Georgia Regenst University with 100.

Kristina Delpesche (23 minutes, 25.96 seconds) led CSU with a fifth-place finish. Caroline Rotich (23:26.38) was sixth, followed by Moneque English (23:28.31) and Rayna Green (23:31.40).

CSU's Renee Usher (23:58.55) finished 17th.

CSU will host the Lady Cougar Invitational at 7:45 p.m. Thursday.
