Two armed robbers heisted $10,000 in cash from Meloy Drive Tuesday at about 3:10 a.m. when they snatched a Foxy Lady employee's briefcase on her way home, according to a Columbus Police report.

The 55-year-old woman told officers she was unlocking the door to her residence, located on the 200 block, when two men with a gun darted at her from behind a large tree. One tore the case away from the victim and sped off, running north.

Fortuitously, the magazine in the suspect's 9mm Glock jostled onto the ground as they sprinted away.

A sufficient description for the second suspect was unavailable, but the victim described the armed suspect as a black man with hair down to his shoulders. He was wearing a black shirt at the time.
