Report: Stalker bashes woman's head against brick wall

A 23-year-old woman's head was slammed multiple times against a brick wall in her home Thursday when an alleged stalker broke into her 32nd Avenue home, according to a Columbus Police report.

Police later arrested 25-year-old Jeffery McKinney after police met with the victim, who complained of arm and head pain. She was also pushed over a chair when McKinney allegedly broke into her 900 block home at about 5 p.m.

McKinney was charged with simple battery and criminal trespass. He was later transported to Muscogee County Jail.
