Police: Armed suspect pointed gun at teen at Kwik Stop Groceries

A Rice Street man is at large after he reportedly threatened a 17-year-old with a pistol at the Cusseta Road Kwik Stop Groceries, according to a Columbus Police report.

The victim told police that Travis Davis, 22, pointed the pistol at him at about 7:30 a.m., while the two were at the store, which is located at 2047 Cusseta Road. The reason for the confrontation was not given.

Davis will be charged with simple assault, possession of a gun by a convicted felon and pointing a pistol at another. As of Friday morning, he is not listed as booked in the Muscogee County Jail. He is described as a 5-foot-11 black man who weighs about 170 pounds; when last seen, he was wearing a turquoise shirt and blue jeans.
