Kahlia Lawrence had 10 kills, 3 assists, 2 blocks and an ace to lead Kendrick to wins over Jordan and Brooks County on Friday.

EVANS, Ga. -- Harris County went 2-0 during Day 1 of the Coca-Cola Classic at Evans High School in Augusta, Ga.

Harris County beat Evans 11-2 and Walnut Grove 5-3.

Kayla Cotton pitched six innings in Game 1, giving up two runs and three hits with four strikeouts and one walk. She also had two home runs and four RBIs.

Cotton went seven innings against Walnut Grove, giving up seven hits and three runs with seven strikeouts and four walks.

Harris County (12-6, 1-0) will continue in the tournament today at 10:30 a.m against Lumpkin County.Friday at Evans
