Pacelli 44, Stewart County 0: Vikings roll to easy victory

LUMPKIN, Ga. -- Pacelli's 44-0 victory over Stewart County was a decisive one on Friday night.

Pacelli jumped out to a 28-0 lead in the first quarter, and that would be enough to secure the victory; the other 16 points were insurance.

Deandre Bowman returned the opening kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown. He would have 166 all-purpose yards on the night. He also had a 65-yard interception return for a touchdown.

Ben Davis returned a fumble for 10 yards and a scvore just a minute later, and Keandre Ashley scored on a 60-yard scamper.

Ashley had three carries for 75 yards and two touchdowns. Quarterback Wyatt Petersen went 3-5 with 55 yards.

A fumble recovery in the end zone by Marcous Herrera and a sack for a safety by Trevor Robicheux accounted for the rest of Pacelli's points.
