Update (1 p.m.): Ayvani Hope Perez has been found alive. According to Clayton County Police Chief Gregory Porter, Perez was found “at a location in Conyers.”

The FBI identified the suspects in custody as Wildrego Jackson and Juan Alberto Contrez Rodrigues -- separate from the men who appeared on sketches released Tuesday.

“We believe those two suspects in the drawings are still at large,” said Rick Maxwell, assistant special agent in charge with the FBI’s Atlanta office, according to the AJC.

Anyone with information should call 770-477-3513.

Update (7:03 a.m.): A ransom for 14-year-old Ayvani Hope Perez has been issued following her kidnapping Tuesday morning, during a home invasion in Ellenwood.

The AJC has confirmed that a $10,000 ransom demand was sent by the two men who allegedly broke in through Perez's home, before demanding money and jewelry and -- finding neither -- kidnapping the girl.

Perez's family told the AJC that they are working to gather the money. Perez is still missing. She is described as 4-foot-9, 93 pounds and Hispanic, with brown eyes and black hair.

The FBI and GBI are aiding in the search.

Anyone with information on Perez or the suspects should call 770-477-3513 or Clayton County police at 678-610-4781.

Original story: According to a Levi's Call, 14-year-old Ayvani Hope Perez was kidnapped Tuesday morning by two armed men during a home invasion in Ellenwood.

Two black men came in through the back door of Perez's home, in the 3800 block of Brookgate Drive, at about 2:15 a.m., a police spokesperson told the AJC. Perez's mother unsuccessfully tried to hide her two children and the family dog. The men demanded money and jewelry.

“She did not have any money and jewelry so they shot the dog and kidnapped the 14-year-old,” said spokesman Phong Nguyen.

He went on: “It didn’t appear that (the men) knew (the victims). They just moved in about a month ago."

Ayvani is 4-foot-9, weighs 93 pounds and is Hispanic. She has brown eyes and black hair, and was wearing blue and gray Star Wars pajama bottoms and a blue and gray “Super Hero” shirt.

She was last seen in a gray Dodge.

Anyone with information on the girl or the suspects should call 911 or Clayton County police at 678-610-4781.
