Phenix City officials launched a new promotional campaign Tuesday called "Positively Phenix City."

Mayor Eddie Lowe said the campaign aims to promote the positive aspects of Phenix City.

"Come Grow With Us" is the slogan.

Economic Development Manager Shaun Culligan called it a "rebranding" for the city that will emphasize Phenix City's many good points.

The mission of the campaign is to inform citizens of current projects taking place within the city, to showcase the city's current assets and local businesses and to encourage the local community to shop Phenix City first. "We're just saying if you can get it in Phenix City, then get it here," Culligan said.

Along with the new campaign, there is a new video that has been circulating. It showcases many parts of Phenix City, including the river, Chattahoochee Brewing Company, Mike & Ed's, the Fifth Street Water Park, Idle Hour, the riverwalk and much more.

Here's the video:

What do you think? Does this video and campaign change the way you feel about Phenix City? Is it shedding an older image you once had of the city?
