Report: Police find convulsing dog, charge woman with animal cruelty

A 14th Avenue dog owner faces animal cruelty charges after police found her small dog suffering from convulsions, according to a Columbus Police report.

Kristina Curenton, 30, was taken into custody at about 5 p.m. after someone reported the dog convulsing in the apartment's backyard.

The present condition of the dog and the reason for the convulsions was not given. More information will be added as it becomes available.
