CSU 2, Armstrong Atlantic 0: Lady Cougars down No. 3 Armstrong Atlantic at home

The Columbus State Lady Cougars soccer team handed No. 3 Armstrong Atlantic State University its first loss of the season by winning Friday's match 2-0.

A pass from Nicole Corcione led to the first goal of the match, scored by Chelsea Person at the 51:55 mark of the second half.

At 77:05 Shelby Rolling scored her first goal of the season on a free kick.

Keeper Meosha Hatcher saved all three of Armstrong Atlantic's shots on goal to keep a clean sheet and help her team pick up the win.

Columbus State is now 3-2 on the season. The Lady Cougars will host Lee tomorrow at 1 p.m.
