Gene Thomas, 46, of LaGrange, Ga. has been arrested and charged with three counts of trafficking methamphetamine.
According to a police report, members of the LaGrange Police Department and agents with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation West Metro Task Force arrested Thomas Saturday at a traffic stop.
He was arrested without incident.
The residence of Thomas had been searched on Sept. 18 where police say more than 18 ounces of crustal methamphetamine were found.
Thomas previously had a warrant for trafficking methamphetamine from an earlier incident in LaGrange.
Thomas eluded officers in Chambers County and the West Point area when an attempt was made to arrest him on Friday.
