Report: Cocaine seized after man drives in rain without headlights

A 28-year-old man is facing cocaine possession charges after he failed to use headlights while driving in Monday afternoon's rain storm, according to a Columbus Police report.

Jamison Franklin, 28, was traveling near St. Mary's Road and Nightingale Drive at about 4:30 p.m. when an officer spotted him and pulled him over. During a search, an unspecified amount of cocaine was found. Officers also allegedly found an unspecified amount of marijuana.

Franklin was charged with possession of cocaine, marijuana, drugs not kept in original container and lights required. He was transported to Muscogee County Jail.
