Woman charged with cocaine possession near 14th Avenue

Police charged a woman with cocaine after she was stopped on suspicion of prostitution near 14th Avenue, according to a Columbus Police report.

An officer was patrolling near the intersection of 24th Street and 14th Avenue, which reportedly is a high drug and prostitution area. When the officer saw 24-year-old Khalilah Molson in the roadway, he stopped and asked her what she was doing.

After running Molson's name, the officer found an outstanding warrant. Police ound 0.1 grams of crack cocaine and a crack pipe in a cigarette box during a search of Molson's person.

Molson was charged with possession of cocaine and drug related objects. She was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
