Raising Money for the United Way

There's still time this afternoon to raise money for a good cause and send a local law enforcement officer to the bottom of the tank. The Russell County Sheriff's Office is having a United Way fundraiser today, with a variety of officers manning a dunking booth at the Sheriff's Office headquarters. It costs $1 per throw or $5 for six throws. Shell over $25 and you can manually dunk the person in the booth. Sheriff Heath Taylor is scheduled to be in booth from 5pm-6pm. Here's video of Chief Ray Smith of the Phenix City Police Department from this morning.
