Columbus-raised man offers $1,500 to anyone who finds him a girlfriend weighing 130 lbs. or less

A Columbus-raised man is making national headlines after creating a website that offers $1,500 to anyone who finds him a girlfriend meeting a strict set of requirements.

"Romeo Rose," whose real name is reportedly Larry Busby, now resides in Austin, Texas. He offers the reward on a website called Sleepless In Austin.

On the website, he notes, "I am looking for a girl that has a thin or athletic build. No one over 130lbs. Ages 21–41 White, Hispanic, or of European descent."

Commenters on sites like Gawker and Reddit have called 39-year-old "Romeo Rose" racist and bigoted due to his description of the girl he wants. Here are some excerpts from the criteria listed on his website:

I will not date a Black girl. I don’t care if she looks like Halle Berry, I will not ever date a Black girl. However, I will date any other race, Hispanic, Mexican, Spanish, Russian, Italian, French, European, White, whatever, anything except Black

I like girls that are 130 pounds or less. Of course weight needs to be in proportion to their height, as long as they aren’t considred overweight, they should be fine. Being overweight is a total dealbreaker with me.

I do not like glasses on a girl. Although, it’s not a dealbreaker, as long as she can wear contacts at least most of the time.

"Romeo Rose" was born in Orlando, Fla., in 1974, according to the "about me" portion of his website. He says he moved to Columbus when he was 2 and was raised by his great-grandmother. He says he lived in Columbus until around 2000, when he was around 24. Then, he moved to West Virginia. He later moved to Austin.

Some other interesting tidbits from his "about me" summary:

I have a way of leaving lasting impressions on people the first time they meet me, they never forget me, and the more a person gets to know about me the more they realize that they have never, ever met another human being in this world like me!

I believe that 911 was a Inside Job, designed to instill more fear in Americans in which the government can use as a escuse to take away more of our rights and freedoms and push more of their terrible agenda upon us.

I am old fashioned. I am conservative. I believe men should be men, and women should be women. God made Adam & Eve, not Adam & Steve.

I do wedding photography on the weekends as well as all other types of photography. And I also work another job Monday through Friday, and i also am currently working a lot of overtime.

There is NOTHING typical, average, normal, or ordinary about me whatsoever!

So...there you go. Anyone know this guy?
