Saturday will be a great day to get outside, according to meteorologists' predictions.

The meteorologists at WRBL say we'll see a mostly sunny Saturday with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.

That's good news for anyone planning to travel to Georgia's State Parks & Historic Sites, which are offering free admission and parking Saturday. Many state parks will hold special events in conjunction with the celebration.

Speaking of state parks, The North Face Endurance Challenge is expected to bring lots of people to F.D. Roosevelt State Park in Pine Mountain, Ga., on Saturday and Sunday. It spans trail races in a variety of distances.

Online registration is closed, but day-of registration is available. Click here for registration information. If you're participating in the trail races, remember there is no parking at the start/finish. Shuttles will be provided to and from the event. Meet at the beach area at Callaway Gardens.
