CSU women's golf in 10th at Lady Bearcat Invitational

The Columbus State Lady Cougars golf team finished in 10th place after the first day of the Lady Bearcat Invitational at the Old South Golf Links in Hilton Head, S.C.

The team shot a 319, 25 strokes over the leader, Flagler College.

Steph Charteris led the Lady Cougars on day one, coming in with a 76 on the par 72 course. She is currently tied for 16th overall.

Jodi Henley shot a 78 (tied for 31st), Kaitie Cross shot an 80 (tied for 43rd), Ciera Bagley came in at 80 (tied for 43rd) and Courtney Lowery totaled 82 strokes (tied for 54th).

The second and final round of the invitational will begin today at 8:30 a.m.
